Compare a travel itinerary before making an enquiry
An itinerary is easier to compare when you separate the route, the included services and the conditions still to check. Use the same blank sheet for each trip so a striking headline does not hide practical differences.
Map the route in your own words
List each overnight stop, travel leg and day with a scheduled activity. Mark any day whose timing is unclear. Ask how arrival, departure and free time fit together before assuming that every place in a headline is included in the same way.
Compare what is included
Use separate columns for transport, accommodation, meals, activities and optional costs. Copy only details actually stated for that itinerary. Do not import a hotel category, transfer arrangement or excursion from another tour offered by the same business.
Collect practical questions
Record the dates, starting point, group arrangements, access needs and level of activity you want clarified. Check current entry, health and travel requirements through appropriate current sources when planning a real journey. An old itinerary title does not establish those requirements or availability.
Review the conditions
Ask for the current total price, payment schedule, change and cancellation terms and the identity of the party responsible for the booking. Keep unanswered questions beside the itinerary. Decide whether the trip fits your priorities before treating a newsletter offer as a commitment to travel.
