Questions before a curling club visit

A curling club update can describe social events, leagues or introductory sessions. A first visit is easier to plan when the activity and expectations are clear.

Checklist

  1. Ask which current session is intended for newcomers and what instruction is included. Distinguish a social event from on-ice participation or a league commitment.

  2. Check clothing, footwear and equipment requirements directly with the club. Ask about access, session length and how participants receive a briefing before taking part.

  3. Confirm costs, dates and cancellation terms. After a session, note what you enjoyed and which skills or practical questions you want to explore next.
