Restart a project with a visible next step
A stalled project often needs a smaller definition of progress. This worksheet uses short written actions to help you restart, without promising a particular result or treating a planning method as ADHD care.
Checklist
Write the project's purpose and what completion would look like at its smallest useful scale. Put optional improvements on a separate list so they do not keep expanding the finish line.
Identify the next action you can see yourself doing: open a file, gather one source or draft one paragraph. Choose a stopping point and put required materials within reach.
After the session, record what happened and choose the next action. If the task stayed difficult, adjust scope, environment or support rather than making a larger promise for tomorrow.
Questions and answers
What if I have very little time?
Use the session to remove one obstacle or prepare the next start. A useful result can be a clearer question or an organised folder. Keep the plan flexible, and discuss ongoing attention or wellbeing concerns with a qualified professional when appropriate.
